Hadn't been to Horseshoe in many years and decided to try it out again this past Saturday 7/20/19. I knew there was construction going on, so I wasn't surprised to see signs redirecting me to the parking structure. They were easy to follow and I was able to find a good location. You had to walk a little bit to get to the casino, but I didn't mind the walk; needed the exercise. They had benches along the way, which was nice if you needed to take a break. I ended up playing roulette for almost 2 and a half hours (around 10am till almost 12:30pm) and had a blast. The dealer was very nice and friendly, took time to answer my questions when I had them. Ended up winning a nice amount, enough to pay my bills for the next month. I would highly recommend this place, you honestly don't hear construction going on, even while walking to the casino. I will definitely be returning in the future.

It was a nice experience. The hotel was nice and clean. I did hurt my shoulder trying to open the door. You had to hit it like a football player just to get the door open. My kids couldn't get back in the room themselves because they weren't strong enough to open the door to go in and out. Everything is so expensive though. They leave you 2 bottles of water in the room but if you drink them they will charge you $4 plus tax. Would have loved to get room service since we never have before but couldn't afford the room service, and to rent a movie to watch was $19.99 plus tax. The casino was fun and I loved the experience. Overall it was fun and everyone was very nice.

We had a good time. They are doing a pretty good job of building a casino right in the middle of running a casino. The only pain is the extra walking you have because the casino parking garage is closed and parking other than valet is at the hotel. Still a good time. The slots took my money but my wife made money on them. The buffet is closed, maybe because of construction. I don't know for sure but I miss it.

Love this place. The hotel and room service is excellent. This is my R&R place. Only downfall is they do not do a good job of keep the kids out of the pool during "adult hours" and some people are nasty at the po leaving trash everywhere. I just assume they have no home training. Other than that, I highly recommend.

I absolutely love this place. It’s the perfect close to home get away! The room was spotless!! It was quiet with beautiful views. Very private property. I’m a country girl so this place is right up my alley. Im not into gambling but it was a nice little distraction. The restaurants were awesome. The casino was fun with a great atmosphere. Beautiful pool and hot tub! They have smoking rooms!! You can get to the hospitals in Louisville very easy from this place. Definitely driving across the river instead of staying in Louisville!! I had no idea this place even existed. I will DEFINITELY be back!! :) :) :)
